Norbert Maier harps

Hi all,
Sorry that this post is not in German. Has anyone here recently purchased a harp from Norbert Maier? I've been in touch with him about building a harp, but was warned by someone that the quality of his harps have taken a sharp decline in the last few years, can anyone conform that? Does anyone know how things are now? This news had me quite worried and I don't know how to proceed.
